SHARE YOUR WONDEROUS STORIES!
Hold onto the pleasant memories, silly thoughts, life lessons and goals through pictures, words, quotes and scribbles. Putting them down on paper keeps them alive. Success often comes from our imagination, dreams, hopes and wishes. Writing it down helps manifest those dreams.
UNPLUG and DO IT!
We all have interesting moments in our lives. It's a wonderful reflection of where life has taken us and it's so easy to forget. Our family history is slowly slipping away. Our world is changing daily, moment by moment. Please, take some time to write, draw and express how you feel as it happens. Or just doodle!
Imagine writing to yourself in a language you understand, reading it years from now as an elder. Occasionally I print really small just to tease the old lady I will become. HA!
I COMMITTED TO THE WORK and the universe unfolded before my eyes. I opened my heart, and allowed for personal growth and awareness to manifest. I became acutely aware of my surroundings. I began to travel. I asked for tools to create wonderful memories. Happy thoughts were in the forefront of my mind, not the negative over thinking ones. I made a conscious choice to focus on the good in life. I was surrounded! The dark side and stresses of life began to slip away. I wanted to remember happy thoughts & moments. It helped with my anxiety.
When I was a bit overwhelmed, I pulled out my sketchbook and began to draw. I slipped into the world I was creating on the page. My surroundings became softer and less uncomfortable or irritating and so beautiful. I became grateful every day. I let the synchronicity unfold. Visions began to evolve. Dreams on the page sometimes do come true!
I PROMISE, IF YOU PRACTICE YOUR SKILLS WILL GET BETTER.
You are creating a NEW HABIT! YOU CAN REWIRE YOUR BRAIN. Use your sketchbook to replace a bad habit with a creative one.
HAVE A CONVERSATION! I asked family members to tell me stories from their youth or as far back as they could remember. What story did they want to share? How did you meet? Who made an impression in their lives. Who made an impression in mine? I learned how to listen and when to keep my mouth shut.
Record WORLD HISTORY as it happens!
"I am dedicating time to record my living history with drawings, letters and words as it happens... I put down the cell phone and unplugged! I let the world around me stimulate my curiosity and heighten my senses as I sketch. I TOOK RESPONSIBILITY FOR CREATING MY OWN ADVENTURES! Amazing stories began to happen as I turned the pages! I met people I could never imagine. We shared stories upon stories, laughter, love and tears. I connected with my life and others as I had never done before. I draw in the moment and from memory. Sharing images with friends and loved ones creates a wonderful bond." ~Wendy
