YOUR HAIRWRAP APPOINTMENT: Please arrive 15 minutes early to choose beads, charms and colors. I will guide you through the process. Each hair wrap includes 3 charms (tassels) and about a dozen beads but you are welcome to have more for an additional cost. Special charms can be included for an up charge, usually only $1-5. I do offer a CLIP for tassels, if you want to change charms, one of my trademarks!
Appointments are about 2-3 hours, depending on hair length. Some appointments can be only an hour, it depends on the work and how long you play in the beads and charms. I NEED AT LEAST 3 INCHES or more OF HAIR FOR YOUR WRAP TO STAY IN PROPERLY.
A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER:
1. LOCATION. What shoulder do you carry your bag? Put the wrap on the other side. Behind the ear is the most comfortable and when you remove it, only a small curl of hair grows out.
The MIDDLE of your back feels really good. A tail helping you to move forward. It reminds you to stand tall and sit up straight!
The RIGHT side will stimulate face recognition, expressing and reading emotions, music, color, images, intuition and creativity.
The LEFT side will stimulate language, logic, critical thinking, numbers and reasoning.
2. YOUR HOPES & DREAMS. What is your hope for the next 6 months to a year? Do you want design to be warrior like or more delicate? This world is in transition. Where do you want to be? What do you hope to draw toward yourself? What will you choose to manifest this year?
3. BEADS. You are looking for 12-15 beads plus 3 charms for your ends.
Pick items from a scarf, then choose the ones you can't live without. Please, return unwanted beads to THAT scarf and move to the next one.
SCARF ONE is large holed beads. These will be placed in the main shaft of the wrap to separate patterns.
SCARF TWO is decorative beads. These will be used for accents and with charms.
SCARF THREE & FOUR is ALL charms. I tassel all my ends, one of my trademarks. The longest tassel will help ground you. 3 charms are
included in each wrap.
4. COLORS. Choose 3-7 colors, depending on your wrap length. Don't pick all light or all dark colors. If you want me to favor a color, choose a dark and light shade. Neutral colors include black, silver, and gold.
5. PERSONALIZE. You are welcome to bring beads from home, including beads from family jewelry. Recycle favorite earrings, old charms and more. It's wonderful to have that energy on your person.
6. REMEMBER TO RELAX. I will ask for your assistance occasionally.
THERE WILL BE NO PEAKING UNTIL IT'S DONE! REALLY.
SO HAVE A SMOKE, GO POTTY AND GET A DRINK BEFORE WE BEGIN.
You can wiggle anytime and check your posture!
CREATIVE CHARACTER TRAITS (additional charges)
SEEING EYE. ($6) Wisdom. All seeing. Farsighted. Eye contact. Ward agains evil eye.
SNAKE. ($6) Serpent. Sexual energy. Creative Life. Rebirth. Earth Dragon.
DOUBLE SNAKE. ($10) Duality in harmony. Wax/wane. Left/right. Binding/losing. Asleep/awake.
ON THE SIDE. ($5) The path less traveled. These look great when there are more than one weaving alongside your wrap.
TRIPPLE BRAID. ($12) Traditional 3 strand braid. Very bold. Body, mind and spirit connection.
QUAD BRAID. ($15) Ropelike. Textural 4 strand braid. 4 elements.
MULTIPLE WRAPS (Maybe add another at your next appointment or schedule a double appt)
DOUBLE WRAPS. One on each side. They loop together to look like a necklace. Great for extra balance and grounding. Easy to hide in sight.
TRIPLE GODDESS. One wrap at each side and one down the middle of your back. Very powerful. Braid together temporarily for a bold effect.
THE POWER OF A HAIRWRAP
You know all those wicked, ugly thoughts in your head? The ones that keep you from living your dreams or moving forward? Evil images of a past that never changes, every time you relive it in your mind? REWRITE the STORY IN YOUR HEAD! Fortunate for you, your spirited hair wrap tapestry will attract these ugly thoughts and words. They will travel down the wrap being filtered and losing power. They dance through the tassels and fall to the ground, in silence forever! Walk upon this earth with love and they turn to dust. Dance in thanks!
Hairwraps are also a built in pendulum. If you want guidance, just ask it.
Hairwraps make a wonderful keepsake with a small lock of your hair inside. Dont give it to just anyone!
EVERY HAIRWRAP TELLS A STORY... WHAT IS IN YOUR STORY?
My youngest customer to date has been Ian, age 3. He was so patient playing in the beads while his mom got her wrap. He chose ALL the animal totems for his wrap. I asked, "So many animals. Do you want it to drag on the ground like a tail? That would be silly." he did pick his two favorites. One for himself, one for mom. He will not be forgotten.
